An update from VIMG:
We are very excited to advise that we are in the final stages of obtaining our protection works notices and finance to enable the start of construction of 55 Hardiman Street, Kensington in the next week or two. CMP’s have been issued and the first building permit will be obtained once protections works notices are in hand.
The Marcus Group, experts in Metropolitan multi-residential developments, have been appointed as the Builder who will construct this boutique Kensington project. The project superintendent is Nash who is highly experienced in delivering some of Melbourne’s finest projects.
Due to Covid19 and further environmental testing that was required onsite, the construction has taken a little longer than expected to commence. With the further environmental testing that was required, we have now obtained a Statement of Environmental Audit which gives us assurance that site is ready to commence construction. Rest assured, our builders are focused on constructing the building efficiently and to the highest quality.
Very soon you will see the start of the basement construction at 55 Hardiman St Kensington. You will see the foundation and piling works commence, allowing for the next steps in the construction process, the excavation of the basement, to get underway. The current display suite will also be demolished to make way for the 5 townhouses to the west of the site.
