Please find below update from the developer for Hub, 322-328A Centre Road, Bentleigh:
We are pleased our passion for this project has been well received in the market and have exceeded our sales expectations. Buyers have recognized the standard of design and locational advantages of Centre Road and as a result, sales have been buoyant and indeed a slowdown in the market has not affected this project.
In a news story recently published in the Herald Sun, writer Nathan Mawbry said: “few developments could match the Hub for its prime position in the centre of the action”.
We have appointed a builder and acquired a demolition and building permit with those works expected to begin in May.
The demolition is being carefully managed due to the site’s location in a busy retail precinct. We are also working closely with the Glen Iris council regarding the build procedure due to the location and building height. The Centre Road project was approved for eight storeys and as the council has since implemented mandatory maximum heights it will be the only building ever to be approved to such a height in the area.
