We are thrilled to announce that we have received the updated endorsed plans from the Bayside City Council, addressing the last-minute requests raised in September. This marks a significant milestone, and we are now eager and fully prepared to proceed with the construction phase of the Southpoint project.
In light of the upcoming busy shopping period, Southland Westfield requires the current carpark site (the location of our future construction site office and new display suite) to be utilised as overflow car parking to accommodate the increased demand during the holiday season.
Our construction is set to commence in mid-January, early-February, starting with the relocation of the display suite. We believe this timeline aligns well with our overall project schedule and ensures a smooth transition into the construction phase. As we move forward, we are committed to keeping you updated at every step of the way.
